What ages does MindAlign180 work with?
Kindergarten through college. If your child is in school, MindAlign180 applies. The system does not change by age. What changes is who fills out the inventory and how we read what comes back. A kindergartner‘s world and a sophomore’s world look nothing alike, but the same ten domains are at work in both, and the same question drives the process: what is getting in the way, and what needs to be addressed first.
What is a Performance Block?
A Performance Block is a barrier between your child’s underlying ability and what they are actually able to access, manage, and produce in real life. It can show up academically, emotionally, socially, behaviorally, or in everyday independence even when they are trying their best.
What is the Performance Inventory that MindAlign180 uses to assess my child?
You answer structured questions about your child’s school experience, home environment, and what you have already tried. Your child takes their own performance inventory too, so their voice is part of the picture from the start. Completed online in 15 to 20 minutes. We score it and map the results across all 10 domains.
Who completes the Performance Inventory?

Kindergarten through grade 2: Parent only.
You are the observer at this age. You see the patterns your child cannot yet name: what the school day takes out of them, what happens the moment the demands come off, which mornings go sideways and why. That is real data, and it is the data we need.

Grades 3 through 5: Parent and student.
Children this age are still building the self-awareness that self-report requires. A fourth grader can tell you they hate math. They usually cannot tell you whether it is the math, the noise in the room, or the fear of being called on. Your observation is more reliable, so we build the picture from what you see.

Grades 6 through high school: Parent and student.
Two inventories, completed separately and scored separately. We never blend them into one number.
Where they differ tells us as much as where they agree. A student who reports more struggle than a parent sees is usually holding it together at school and letting go at home, or the reverse. That gap changes where you start.

College: Student, with the parent version optional.
At 18 and older, the student is the client. They complete the inventory and receive their own profile. If the family wants both perspectives, a parent can complete the parent version as well, and we will show what the two reveal together.
That is the family’s decision to make, not ours.

You receive your child’s ranked Performance Blocks, a clear map of what is driving the struggle, and a prioritized plan of interventions to turn things around. The guessing stops here. You know exactly what to address, in what order, and why.
When will I receive the Whole-Child Profile?
Your Whole-Child Profile is typically delivered within 2 weeks of completing both Performance Inventories. Every profile is personally reviewed by the MindAlign180 team, with real people carefully analyzing and connecting the data across all areas of your child’s functioning. This is not an instant, automated report. It is a thoughtful, individualized review designed to give you a meaningful picture of what may be getting in the way and where to focus support.
What happens after you enroll?
Once you choose your MindAlign180 tier, we’ll guide you through a simple Welcome Process designed to gather the information we need to understand your child and build the right starting point.

You’ll receive a welcome email with the required client agreements, terms of service, policies, and other important forms to review and complete. - Parent & Child Inventories
Once your forms are submitted, you’ll receive two inventories: one for the parent or caregiver and one designed for your child’s age and developmental level. - Whole-Child Review & Scoring
MindAlign180 will review and score both inventories together, looking across the whole child to identify patterns, strengths, areas of concern, and possible barriers getting in the way. - Your MindAlign180 Whole-Child Profile Report
You’ll receive a personalized report that brings the findings together in a clear, organized way so you can better understand what may be happening and where to focus first. - Your Skill-Building Track
Along with your report, you’ll receive the supporting MindAlign180 skill-building track matched to the areas identified through the assessment process, giving you practical tools and next steps to begin building the skills your child needs.
What if this doesn’t work for our family?
Fair question. The honest answer is that this system works when families use it. We give you the tools, and you bring the follow-through. Because the Whole-Child Profile has digital products included, all sales are final, so we want you to feel sure before you buy. If now is the right time, we’re ready to get started. If not, no pressure. We’ll be here if you change your mind later on.
Is this therapy?
No. MindAlign180 is an educational consulting and performance system. We do not provide therapy, clinical diagnosis, or mental health treatment.
Is this just executive function coaching repackaged?
No. Executive function is one of 10 domains we assess. Many children do not have an executive function deficit. They have a regulation, identity, or environment problem that makes their existing skills unreachable. If you only address executive function, you are treating the symptom while the root cause stays in place. Knowing the difference is the system.
Can I just use ChatGPT or find this information online for free?
AI can give you 50 strategies for helping a child with challenges. It cannot tell you what to do first for your specific child. It cannot tell you whether the problem is a skill gap or an access problem. It cannot map your child’s emotional load, your school team’s communication patterns, and your family’s capacity all at once. We do. That is the system. Synthesis, prioritization, and sequencing built on 50 combined years of seeing what actually works inside schools. You can Google strategies. You cannot Google your child’s correct plan.
